6176 Regional Manager, Greater Sacramento Area

sUnder the direct supervision of the Managing Director and Executive Vice President, the Regional Manager will be responsible for the identification, evaluation, pre-qualification of deal flow opportunities, underwriting of candidate acquisitions, organization, and management of due diligence processes, successful acquisition, and disposition of land investments.

Responsibilities:

Manages and directs the acquisition and disposition budget for the company within the Sacramento Area.

Directs the sourcing and identification of potential acquisition opportunities to create a consistent and growing acquisition pipeline.

Directs the development and maintenance of a network of land acquisition opportunity sources: including, but not limited to, brokers, property owners, appraisers, attorneys, special servicers, and other industry professionals.

And also builds effective relationships with local representatives!

Oversees and evaluates the quantitative and qualitative analysis of each investment and determines the feasibility of potential transactions.

Interacts with companies’ analysts, reviews cash flow models, operating statements, and other financial reports to determine investment returns, potential risks, and risk-related sensitivities.

Directs all aspects of preliminary investment research and physical due diligence.

Skills:

Proven success navigating through unique obstacles inherent in the land acquisition, management, and disposition processes. Experience managing complex projects in a multitude of environments. Strong organizational, decision making, and interpersonal skills.

Experience/Education: BS/BA in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban planning, or Business.

MBA or Real Estate Development is a plus. 10+ years of dedicated experience in financial modeling, land development, residential construction, single and/or multi-family land acquisitions, and/or land planning and development.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Operating Systems, and social media web platforms, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing technology environments.
