Responsibilities and Duties:
This role supervises and carries out all technical aspects of retail development including feasibility analysis, design, programming, entitlements, leasing, consultant coordination, coordination with construction staff in the plan check and construction stage, and coordination of start‐up operations with Property Management staff.
Education and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or graduate study in business, finance, economics, public administration, community development, planning, or related field.
At least 4 years of development experience in leasing and/or tenant improvements with an emphasis on lifestyle and experiential retail.
Understanding and experience with public planning, entitlement, permitting, construction and engineering. Exercise a high level of independent judgment in the conduct of business responsibility within minimal supervision.
Relationships with retail broker communities in project markets.
