6371 Development Project Manager – Greater San Francisco Bay Area

Day-to-day development and construction activities – analyzing the acquisition, entitlement, construction, capitalization, and stabilization of ground-up mixed-use development opportunities. Manage architects/engineers/contractors. Must have a working knowledge of multifamily building systems.

Prepare/manage/maintain the project’s hard and soft cost budgets including the negotiation of contracts and processing of change orders.

Manage RFIs and submittals to ensure information is communicated in a timely matter.

Financial modeling (in Excel) of development projects within Northern California.

Investigate key market assumptions. Prepare investor reports and monthly updates for senior management. Supervise an Assistant.

Frequent travel to job sites/municipalities/corporate.

Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, business, or architecture is preferred.

2-5 years of related experience with a developer/investor focused on development preferred.

Mastery of Excel is required. Working knowledge of acquisitions and development with some underwriting experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.

Energy and commitment to work in a high-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment.
