General Job Description:
SoCal Positive fast paced and fast-growing foodservice equipment company seeks motivated Sales Consultant.
Responsible for promoting and selling products and services, conducting food and equipment demonstrations, sales presentations, attending tradeshows, excel at prospecting, generating leads, closing deals, and ensuring customer retention.
Managing and maintaining communication between sales, training, and service personnel; and most importantly our customers.
Provide strategic overviews to upper management about the market trends, sales opportunities, growth prospects, and forecasting.
2+ years of experience in outside/field sales in a foodservice line dealing with equipment.
BS/BA or equivalent experience.
Management of existing account base, while actively soliciting new business opportunities.
Establish rapport and develop solid relationships with key customer accounts.
Must know and follow all company safety policies and procedures. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Meet and exceed sales, price, and margin targets with the ability to do basic math calculations for discounts and markups.
Travel outside the assigned territory is 10%.
Must be able to pass employment background and drug screening test.
Clean driving record is a must to be considered for employment (No DWIs/DUIs within 7 years).
Bi-lingual Spanish preferred. Previous experience as a Chef or possessing culinary skills is ideal.s.
