Manage the due diligence process on land acquisition opportunities, including initial planning work in close coordination w/ internal design & land dev teams.
Monitor development phases & entitlement processes post-closing. Responsible for maintaining a budget.
Manage land purchase contract process w/ counsel. Develop business community relationships & scout other avenues for possible acquisitions. Negotiate acquisition of properties w/ landowners, attorneys, or brokers.
Prepare land valuation analysis/budgets analysts & development team.
Prepare documentation & analytics for corporate approval.
5+ years of experience acquiring land for a residential product or similar is required. BS/BA is required.
Knowledge of the NoCal market.
Experience using proformas extensively, taking land deals through an entitlement process, building a rough budget and timeline of a land project.
